Live game data
Your display name, guesses, scores, room settings, connection state, and chat messages are sent to the game server so everyone sees the same race.
Privacy notice · public beta
ChampDiff does not require an account. It uses only the information needed to run a live room, reconnect your tab, and remember a few preferences.
Data used
Your display name, guesses, scores, room settings, connection state, and chat messages are sent to the game server so everyone sees the same race.
Your display name, language, and sound preference are stored locally. A reconnect credential is kept in session storage for the current browser tab.
The hosting and infrastructure providers may process standard request data such as IP address, timestamp, and browser details for security and reliability.
The beta does not ask for your legal name, email, payment details, precise location, contacts, camera, or microphone.
Retention & control
Other players in the room can see messages and display names. ChampDiff chat is for coordinating the game, not private communication.
Sharing
Room data is shared with players in that room and processed by the infrastructure needed to operate ChampDiff. The beta does not sell personal information, run targeted advertising, or send gameplay events to a third-party analytics product.
If those practices change, this notice and the product interface must be updated before the new collection begins.
Questions
This is a founder-run beta without an account portal. Use the public repository only for non-sensitive privacy questions, and never include room tokens, private messages, IP addresses, or other personal data. Do not post security vulnerabilities publicly. A monitored confidential security route must be published before the hosted beta opens.
